Well, this yellow is hardly that mellow is it? I've been having these bursts of color obsessions lately. A few months ago I was in an orange/coral phase. I added a burnt orange jacket, orange trench coat, orange & white gingham shirt, & a silk top with a splash of orange on the sleeve into my closet. Oh, I got orange nail polish called "Butterfly" from Revlon too. Before that it was all about pinks: bright & shocking pinks. Sahil claimed my dark pink skirt was in fact, pastel pink. (Google image search was used as proof.) But really, it's nowhere even close to being a pastel. Maybe we'll settle this debate in a later post! I'm sure you can guess by now that this time, I'm in a yellow phase. Not as loud as my darling little couch, but more like mustards & golds for the autumn season. I think it's because I saw a few gorgeous jackets in boxy silhouettes in yummy yellow shades. The heart wants what the heart wants.
Early highlight of my week: being chosen as Chictopia/EIU's new Shopping Editor!! I'm beyond excited :)
