[Turtleneck/Maxi Skirt/Blazer/Belt: BCBG Max Azria | Shoes: Guess | Necklace: F21 | Ring: UO | Lips: YSL Rouge Pur Couture Le Fuchsia]
I'm all about being resourceful & owning things that are versatile. I got this maxi skirt over the summer & a few alterations were in order (XXS was not XXS). It had pockets but needed to be removed -- yes, there was that much excess fabric! Why did I bother with it, you ask? Oh... the possibilities! Plus, I just love how this skirt creates a very streamlined silhouette. I look & feel taller!
PS. This skirt
PS2. I know... it's a full-on BCBG Max Azria outfit. They're one of the few brands that actually carry smaller sizes & fits. Depending on the garment you're looking for, they're cut pretty small. (Except for this maxi skirt. I'm thinking that it might have been labeled incorrectly.) I would highly recommend their jackets & blazers. No alterations needed!
The instructions on how I did these are here. If you have another way of wearing the maxi, I would love to see!
Happy draping/knotting/pinning/belting :)
