Splatter || 15/30 Wardrobe Challenge

[Maxi dress: F21 (old) | Blazer: BCBG Max Azria | Boots: Ralph Lauren | Necklace: Marc Jacobs | Watch: Citizen | Sunnies: Ray Ban | Lips: YSL Le Fuchsia]

I was attacked by a paintball gun. Just kidding! Even though there was a bit of sunshine over the weekend, it's going to be rainy & windy the entire week. Spring showers bring May flowers. Sahil & I did spend hours watching "Heroes". I know it's an old show, but we both never watched it before. I didn't want to watch it at first, but the bf insisted. I'm now highly intrigued! No spoilers, please!

There's a fantastic new project that was brought to my attention by Tania of T like Bubble Tea. It's the 15/30: The Capsule Wardrobe Project. Fifteen pieces in thirty days starting this Thursday, March 15 - April 15. No shopping for an entire month at all -- I'm actually starting to get semi-used to this. The concept behind this challenge is very simple, really. Pick 15 different pieces from your wardrobe & only wear those items for the whole month.

I, along with other bloggers like Tania & Sam of Sam is Home, want to welcome you all to take on this wardrobe challenge & truly see for ourselves how much we think we need to fill this “void” of not having enough. The aim of this project is to get people to become more aware of their shopping habits & hopefully gain a better perspective on sustainable fashion. I'm a big advocate of quality vs. quantity (as I'm sure you could tell with my other posts on Chictopia).

So, get creative, have some fun, start pinning outfit & styling inspirations! Make a daily look book to document this challenge & your progress. I'll be sharing mine, of course. Edit down your closet while you’re at it. There are a few "wear it # of ways" posts on EIU & my previous post on "1 skirt, 12 ways" if you need help getting started. Besides, it’s been said we really only wear 80% of our wardrobe.

Rules:
- ANY 15 pieces for 30 days (ex: 10 tops, 5 bottoms or 5 dresses, 6 tops, 4 bottoms)
- Accessories (incl. hats, scarves)/gym clothes/pajamas/socks are not included in the 15
- No shopping for 1 month
- DIY on the existing 15 pieces is permitted

More information here & here. :)
